Product Description

This is a Kindle Short Reads (60-90 minutes-22k words)

At the time that I wrote Ghost No More, I just couldn’t face an incident that happened in my late teens. I’m stronger now, and Fear No More is that missing section of time.
This book is near and dear to my heart because my readers contributed to it. Thankful for all those brave quotes.

One night changed CeeCee’s life forever. At only seventeen, CeeCee is out on the streets. For her, it is all about finding a place to sleep and something to eat. Yet, just when staying alive can’t get any harder, she meets someone worse off than herself. The last thing she needs is to get involved in someone else’s troubles, but even though she wants to, she can’t just walk away – or can she?

Once again Ceecee James has been able share her memories in a way that makes you feel like you were that teenage girl and these are your own memories. She is a very gifted writer and as hard as her memoirs can be to read sometimes, I’m glad she’s sharing. I think it’s important for abuse survivors to know they’re not alone and for those of us who have been fortunate enough to have never suffered abuse, I think it’s equally as important to understand it because whether we’re aware of it or not, we all know victims of abuse.

5Gripping, Harrowing, and Empowering.
By Forest Maiden
The latest installment recounts CeeCee’s time from living on the streets and her harrowing recovery from sexual assault. Her vulnerable, gripping confessions buried deep inside of me. Her strength is so inspiring, and her message of hope and self-worth — regardless of topic — always forces me to examine my own life and how I view myself.

But man, my sense of justice raged to life after reading this portion of her life story. Rape culture is a gross, manipulative lie that dehumanizes and further defiles those in desperate need of compassion and protection.

Bless you CeeCee for coming forward so others can feel empowered and safe to do so as well and, hopefully, find the healing they need. You are truly remarkable.

5Powerful, well-written, and uplifting.
By LoveLoveBooks
First, I can not believe this book was free. CeeCee’s story-telling is both well-written and evocative, and because of this, it’s a little difficult to grasp that this is a memoir.

But it is. It’s reality, and the knowledge that stories like this transpire in real life is heartbreaking, but that’s not the only dimension of her tale. Heartbreaking, yes–but it’s also a powerful story of survival and hope.

Again, can’t believe it was free – well done and well deserved.
